Thank you, Sarah. Any excuse to use Nancy. It looks like the problem is Microsoft blocking the site in Office 365. Who knows? My place of work may have restrictions that I don't know about (scary Edgar Allen Poe picture yesterday?)--but also shows me how fragile access can be if one sets off an alarm w/o knowing.-K
Poe might be the problem. Little-known tale, while attending West Point, he was expelled for showing up to roll call wearing his sword. And nothing else.
I like James Purefoy so saw he was in a film where he played a professor who orchestrates a huge killing ring based on adoration of Poe. It was unwatchable (James Purefoy has become a heavy, I guess) but the initial entry in the series was full of Poe history--but not THAT slice of life at WP.
Another little-known fact was that a medical sleuth was given the task of determining Poe's cause of death without access to the body. He determined that Poe died of rabies.
Great to see little Nancy again! Not sure that the Folio Society Award picture from yesterday ever came thru my email, but not going to state that it did not. Microsoft sucks, but until I learn to use Linux, I'm stuck with it.
The good citizen Substack also had a problem sending out an email this morning..happened at 09:53 ..maybe the pre mid term election algorithm censor is being tested 🤔
There is a guy from our IT department struggling to help...he says the Substack notification has been caught in the Microsoft Safe Link. The message that goes out to tell people we have published looks like it comes from us (tho substack sends it). I had to explain Substack which he had never heard of. I also wrote Substack help but of course no response yet. If, indeed, e-mail notifications from Substack are being filtered out from peoples' mail due to local network rules it is a problem that Substack needs to consider.
Nancy!
She is such a cutie!!

I think no prob with gmail...just anything microsoft based. Might be a prob for SubStack to solve.
I like Nancy being my test pattern.
