This is a librarian response. The new library management system did not pull up this article in a lit. search. (The whole state switched over last week). I now went to Library literature and got the citation: Eberhart, George M. 2005. “South Asian Libraries Hit Hard by Tsunami.” American Libraries 36 (2): 10–12 and will add it. Library Literature SH are only South Asia; Disasters; Libraries. So now I had better do a separate search in the LL as well as the new (improved?????) super-search which looks like it is not doing FT searching. Thank you so much. Everyone won't have a you to let them know that the library management systems are dropping information.

I shall become the bête noire of library management systems.

I had a big tussle with Ebsco this summer. One of my students had an excellent article about a historical Black museum in St. Petersburg, FL in the journal, Florida Libraries. The only SH Ebsco assigned were "museums," "Virginia," and "construction." I wrote many e-mails to Ebsco because there is the JCLC conf. in St. Petersburg in Feb. and it seemed impt to me that an article about a local museum be found. Eventually they fixed the SH ,but the usefulness of the indexing is waning. Please be the bête noire and make them do better. (Librarian probs).
