It took a long time for the Vatican to make her a Doctor. of the Church--

"Proclaiming Saint Hildegard of Bingen, professed nun of the Order of Saint Benedict,

Maybe not. There's a big hole in my knowledge of liturgical chants that begins around 300-500 CE and runs through about 1800 CE.
