Pre-Cromwell the Irish sent men to Scotland to kill the English. Before that, I'm sure the English did something bad to somebody. I do not know who did what to whom to start it all. It's supposed to be fixed now, peace breaking out in 1998,

I think the UK started it..under Cromwell so it was a long struggle.

Surely there's a difference between freeing your own country and attacking another? This tit-for-tat condemnation only applies to the latter.
