This is super neat!! I had no idea.

But I have a dark confession to make (please don't cancel me)...I can't stand dust jackets. I don't hate them so much that I get rid of them if a book has one (except on some children's books, because they inevitably get destroyed). But I do go out of my way to buy paperbacks or books with no-jacket covers. (My favorite are textbook-style covers.) 😱

DJs might be a something from the past. My first job I had to cover the DJs with glassine wrappers!

Well, I always liked those library-wrapped ones a little better than normal dust jackets, for what it's worth. 😉

Back when I read physical books, I didn’t like them either. I always took them off when I read the books.

I discovered these far too late in my acquisition

of vinyl records and it cost me thousands on eBay In my early Retirement ! 👻👻👻👻👻

Great concept for books 👌👍🏻👏 it brings visions of the “Time Machine “ where all books have basically disintegrated- self destruction…..💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Save our souls in words - electronics can be easily erased!

There is a site that sells old album covers? Of course there is. Do you have a link?

Thanks but I sold everything that was in reasonable condition and gave away the rest.

I could have used the covers when I was a teen though 😀

Only you could make dust jackets interesting. I've given up reading hardcover books in favor of electronic books, easier to hold.

Me too for reading but sometimes I still buy both.

This is fascinating! The designs are fun to look at, and it would be so interesting to read the blurbs and plot summaries to see how publishers of the past marketed their books.

The dust jacket art is beautiful!

Amazing product! Who would have ever imagined? I typically but used books, many without covers. Most of them end up at some Goodwill - with/without those jackets. OTOH, you really must care a lot given the jacket cost.

I ordered one today for a 12 volume set I have that is missing one jacket so I was motivated.

My daughter loves books on a shelf, lined up with their covers. Quite understand. OTOH she is appalled at the fact I now have stacks of books sitting on my bedroom floor that one day will fall to her to get them carted away. I confess that I often buy used books when my local library has no copy and the Kindle version is more than used. That may be a reflection of an excess of non-fiction and varied interests. I got hooked for a time reading about the Lincoln Highway where many ex-library books were available.
