The Trump Presidential Library documents are under the aegis of the National Archives. However, no physical library has been built.

Presidential physical libraries require fundraising from private donors. The recent articles of incorporation indicate that fundraising plans are underway.

Joe Biden Presidential Library

With some two weeks left at the helm, President Joe Biden mentioned early hopes for a presidential library in an exclusive interview with USA TODAY January 5, 2025. The president confirmed he hasn’t made any decisions on where the library will be located – but "hopefully" it lands in Delaware.

“I’ve talked to former presidents, apparently building the library is a gigantic undertaking,” Biden said from the Oval Office. “And so I haven’t made that decision yet.”

Barack Obama Presidential Library

The Obama Presidential Library was the first digital presidential library and also contains The Barack Obama Presidential Library Artifact Collection.

The Obama Presidential Center is also being built in Chicago.

George W. Bush Presidential Library

The George W. Bush Presidential Library is the most recent president whose library has been completed. It opened April 25, 2013.
