Congressional Printing Caucus
The new Congressional Printing Caucus will provide a forum for members, their staffs, and the public to discuss the unique impacts that federal policies have on the U.S. printing industry. 1
In the 118th Congress, Representatives Claudia Tenney (R-NY-24), Mark Pocan (D-WI-2), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-OR-5), and Jared Golden (D-ME-2) will serve as co-chairs representing the U.S. printing industry. ACG Advocacy, the Washington, D.C. lobbying firm representing the Alliance, is in the process of identifying additional Members of Congress that share an interest in the public policy challenges and opportunities in the printing industry. 2
The Caucus will provide the Alliance with regular opportunities to educate a core group of lawmakers and their staff about the issues, legislation, and regulations that have a potential effect on the printing industry.
“We are pleased that the Committee on House Administration approved the first-ever Congressional Member Organization (CMO) dedicated to, and focused on, the printing industry,” said Ford Bowers, CEO, PRINTING United Alliance. “We look forward to working with the new Congressional Printing Caucus as we shine a spotlight on print’s vital importance to the U.S. economy."
